Dress Down Sunday-Pt.2

Thank God for a/c. The day was hot, but the pool was a warm 90 degrees felt better than the air.
The worship was great, had an encouraging message and then the fun. We are having one of the hottest summers I can remember and the best activity was the POOL!

There was plenty of food and drink. Later there was the roasting of Pastor Gary where the men affectionately gave him some mementos- a shoe for kicking butts, and an autographed baseball mitt from “Lefty Grove Podosek”. The men shared some funny things about Pastor but through their sharing they expressed just how much they were appreciative of having him in their lives. This of course was followed by a short video of pastor- he’s no Michael Jackson.
A great big thank you to all who aided in cleanup and putting back the house into a livable condition again. Looking to more fun and food on Aug.29 for a last Dress Down Sunday for the summer. Hope to see you there!
