“The anticipation that God could show up any time or any where should fill us with overwhelming excitement!”  I read this in a book recently and that is exactly how I would describe this pass Sunday’s service.  On August 22, 2010 our congregation gathered together not for the wonderful company nor for the beautiful music.  We gathered together in expectation of God not only just “showing up” but to reveal himself to each of us personally.

The praise and worship that we offered to God mixed with the cries of our hearts for God pour out onto his people opened the spiritual flood gates.  From the time that we started in prayer with ” God of this City” playing in the background to the ending on the song “Take my life (Here I am)” we could feel God’s presence moving around us.  If you are seeking God to reveal himself to you examine your heart.  Are you searching for God or just what God can do or provide?  On this past Sunday we as a whole were seeking God for who he is and we were blessed with a small glimmer of God’s glory.
