Wow, what a Sunday we had. A full house, worship was great and God’s word went forth, but the real neat thing was the cook out.
The food was great thanks to Gary and Nolan cooking up most of the food. The neat thing was Jennifer Schneider being baptized. What a wonderful thing to happen this summer for a new believer in Christ to announce she’s dying to this world and going on to live for the Lord. Congratulations Jen!
The real fun began when the AARP’s played volleyball against the younguns. The battle was intense. Trash talking was flying and yet… the AARP’s pulled out a 2-1 victory that went down to the wire. It was long in coming and well worth the fun. Pastor has officially retired and will only play if Bret Farve wins the Super Bowl this year. Well, I truly want to thank everyone from Stream’s for their effort in making this summer fun. We begin a new fall season looking forward to seeing what God is going to do!
